Teri Brewer is our lead Producer and Director. She is the founder of the Archaeoikon atelier. an independent filmmaker who has also worked as a consultant ethnographer, director and filmmaker on commissioned film projects. She is a former academic whose past experience in anthropology, archaeology and folklife research vas well as in cultural and natural history interpretation led to our initial concentration on ethnographic and archaeological film.
Peter Wilcox serves as Senior Editor for Archaeoikon as well as being our IT specialist. He is is experienced in supporting educational media production for a wide range of audiences, and in training new documentary and news production filmmakers in film and sound equipment and studio use, Peter will now be acting as series producer on our new foodways project.
Matthew Wilcox joins us in 2019 as Assistant Producer and Researcher. He is currently developing a historical documentary script with us, while in post production on his own experimental wildlife docu-drama shot in Japan in 2018. With interests and experience in ethnographic film support as well as on wildlife and contemporary arts coverage, Matthew is both a freelance journalist and filmmaker.
